Product Overview

Yipin Dibang Paint Chemical Resistant Epoxy Paint P5400 is a two-component amine adduct-cured epoxy -based coating with excellent resistance to multiple chemicals (including multiple acids, alkalis, salts and other electrolytes ) and good adhesion on steel and concrete surfaces .

Scope of application

It can be used as lining paint for sewage pools, various chemical storage tanks and fresh water storage tanks, etc.

Theoretical coating rate : 6m²/kg

Drying time: 4 hours for surface drying; 7 days for actual drying (fully cured )

Recoating interval: minimum 10 hours, maximum 3 days

Color: White is recommended, other colors can be used instead.

Finish: Semi-gloss

Construction instructions

Surface treatment:

The construction surface must be dry, clean, and free of loose paint, grease and other dirt ; the surface of the new steel plate should be sandblasted to Sa2.5 standard, and after removing dust, it should be sprayed in time to avoid rust on the surface.

Construction method: airless spray, brush or ordinary spray .

Airless spray: one spray hole 0.021″;

Spray pressure : 2900 lbs / in² (200 kg /cm²)

Conventional spraying: Any suitable spraying equipment can be used

Thinner :T0220

(Maximum volume usage) Brush: 15~20%, Airless spray: 5%, Ordinary spray : 30~40%

Cleaning agent : T0220

Safety Rules

1. During construction, ventilation must be maintained and certain protective measures must be taken. Avoid inhalation of solvent vapor or paint mist, and do not allow the product to come into contact with the skin or eyes .
2. Keep flammable items away from fire sources and do not smoke within the construction area.
3. Store in a cool and dry place .
