Product Overview

Yipin Dibang Paint Iron Red Anti-Rust Primer is a specially formulated alkyd-based universal anti-rust primer containing iron oxide pigments. This product dries quickly and has good adhesion and good anti-rust properties. This product can be used on surfaces that have been cleaned by hand or power tools.

Scope of application

It is suitable for indoor and outdoor steel structure surfaces in slightly to moderately corrosive industrial environments, and can also be used as a matching anti-rust primer for fire retardant coatings.

Construction instructions

Surface treatment: The steel surface must be clean, free of loose paint, grease and other dirt. Steel surfaces with special requirements should be sandblasted to Sa2, and the steel plate surface cleaned by hand or power tools must meet St2 or St3 standards to better exert the performance of the paint.

Recommended paint package :

Primer: Iron red anti-rust primer is applied once, reference dosage : 6m²/kg

Topcoat: Alkyd enamel paint applied twice, reference dosage : 4m²/kg

Construction method : airless spray, brush or ordinary spray .

Thinner (maximum volume usage) Brush: 15~20%, Airless spray : 5%,

Normal spraying: 30-40 %

Safety Rules

1. 1. During construction, ventilation must be maintained and certain protective measures must be taken. Avoid inhalation of solvent vapor or paint mist, and do not allow the product to come into contact with the skin or eyes.
2. Keep flammable items away from fire sources and do not smoke within the construction area .
3. Store in a cool and dry place.

Remark

1. This product is not suitable for application on areas that have been immersed in water for a long time.
2. When scraping and brushing the old iron red paint film, you must wear a filter mask to prevent inhalationdust .
